Cookie Notice
This document is published in English. The English text is the binding version; any translation is provided for convenience. If you would prefer to review it in Arabic with your own counsel, write to support@menew.io and we will provide it.
In short
- No advertising cookies. No analytics cookies. No tracking pixels. No third-party ad network.
- That is why you have not seen a cookie banner on this site — there is nothing to consent to.
- What Menew does store is kept in your browser's own local storage, stays on your device, and is listed in full below.
- Your allergy and dietary filters are part of that: they never leave your phone.
Why there is no cookie banner
Consent banners exist because most websites set cookies that track you across the internet for advertising. Menew sets none. Every item below is strictly necessary for the thing you asked the page to do — remembering your basket, keeping you signed in, opening the site in the language you chose — and strictly necessary storage does not require consent under the ePrivacy rules or under Lebanese Law 81/2018.
If that ever changes, this page changes first and a banner appears with it.
Cookies we set
Menew's own pages set no cookies. Signing in to a restaurant console or a station uses a session token held by your browser's local storage, not a cookie.
Our hosting provider may set a short-lived cookie for load balancing and abuse protection. It carries no personal data and is not used to profile you.
What is stored in your browser
All of it lives in localStorage on your own device. It is not transmitted to us unless a column below says so, and you can clear all of it at any time — see Clearing it.

If you run a restaurant

On this website
One entry, holding your language choice, so the site opens in English or Arabic as you last picked. It is never sent anywhere.
Third-party content
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google receives your IP address as part of serving the font file — that is unavoidable for any externally hosted font — but no cookie is set by it and no identifier is stored.
Menu photographs may be served from Unsplash where a restaurant has chosen a stock image. Loading an image discloses your IP address to Unsplash in the same way. No cookie, no identifier.
The "WhatsApp us" links do nothing until you click them. Clicking one opens WhatsApp, at which point WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy apply.
Clearing it
Everything on this page is cleared by clearing site data for the Menew domain in your browser:
- Chrome / Edge — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies → See all site data and permissions, then find the site and delete.
- Safari (iOS) — Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data, then swipe to delete the site.
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data.
- Or use a private / incognito window, where nothing survives the session.
Clearing it costs you nothing important: your basket, your saved phone number, your favourites and your dietary filters are forgotten, and the menu works exactly as it did the first time.
